Session 1: Consumer Trends – transition to the Circular Economy in the Agro-Food and Forestry System over the next 10 years.
Session 2: Transparent supply lines – feed the food chain as well as global food security and sustainability.
Session 3: Understanding interconnections and transition paths towards a low-carbon circular economy in the agro-food and forestry sectors.
Session 4: Innovation in production – the impact of the latest technologies, smart tools for the agro-food and forestry system, and the digitization of factories.
Session 5: Data and metrics to report progress to the circular economy as well as system development and life cycle assessment for the circular economy.
Session 6: Political interface and science for the circular and ecological economy for the agro-food and forestry system.

1. Where do we want Romania to be by 2030 in terms of adopting the circular economy strategy in the agricultural, food and forestry industry?

2. What are the steps to be taken in the agricultural, food and forestry industry in adopting the circular economy?

Questions for discussion 1.What are the circular policy instruments adopted by Romania so far and how do they influence the packaging, logistics and retailers sectors? 2.Identify the key areas for implementing the systemic circular economy across the value chain of the packaging, logistics and retailers sectors (production, consumption, waste management, waste to resources, innovation and investment, others). 3.Why is there a need for a circular economy strategy in Romania and what is the role of the state in achieving this? 4.What kind of circular economy do we want to have in Romania by 2030? 5.What are the trends in the systemic circular economy related to innovation, technology, education, legislation in concern with the economic, social and environmental three pillars, in the world? and in neighboring countries?
Questions for discussion 1.How will the technological developments influence the global economy, the European economy and national economies, including the Romanian economy? 2.Where does Romania stand in economic, social and environmental terms regarding the adoption of the circular economy in 2019? (SWOT analysis, Strengths - Weaknesses) 3.What advantages and opportunities does Romania have in relation to the adoption of the circular consumption and production model? 4.Analysis of Romania's real potential from the point of view of resources and an appreciation of how to value them (Analysis of Romania's resources and capacity to adopt the concept of systemic circular economy in the year 2018, PEST analysis). 5.What investment and development programs in the textile industry should focus on facilitating the transition to the systemic circular economy by 2030?
